I know they only get to 1 1/2 inch, but my guys are so tiny. I've had them for three weeks and they are maybe 1/2 inch. Are they just slow growers? I have three in a 10 gallon and feed bloodworms and baby snails. They were just eyes and tails when I got them. I know they eat well because they eat out of my hand.

I believe DP's only get to about 1" full grown. It will take a little while for them to reach full size.

i have 3 of them in my tank. they were all tiny when i got them. 2 of them are really big now, but the 3rd is still tiny. they gourge themselves on the frozen bloodworms when i throw those in. they are about to explode from the looks of it they eat so much of them. but give them time to grow.

No they are just the puffers in the tank. So, does anyone have any dwarf puffers over one inch? These guys came from a breeder and all the fish i've gotten from her have maxed out on size. I had my hopes that these guys would at least get to seeing size. Sure are pretty fish.

I've had my four since last February and they look to be just under 1"

As long as they have nice, full-looking bellies after they eat I wouldn't worry too much.

Here's a pic I took about a month ago:

Oh great shot! I like your plants also. These guys are so interesting, I spend more time just watching them, than I do any of my other tanks! These are my baby fish, well my Rams are pretty interesting to but not in the same way!

Here are some of the 4 dwarf pufferlings I used to own.
They stayed just under 1 inch.

I have a green spotted puffer that I have had for about six months. It has a bright yellow body with a white underbelly and green spots on its back. I keep it in a tank with three green tiger barbs. They are all about an inch in length. The guys at the pet store said the puffer would get about 1 1/2 inches or about the size of your thumb. He also gorges himself when he eats and will eat out of my hand. Just the coolest to watch, making laps in the tank.

well if you have a green spotted puffer they lied because they get to be about 6" round balls and eventually should be put into saltwater as they have matured. It might not even be a green spotted puffer it could be a figure 8 or something but i hope someone else can answer that one for you.
