Is there much difference in the benifits of feeding one or the other?
Should I rotate or mix them when feeding?

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

keith from a resent study...... the more you mix the types of food your feeding you fish the more fry you would get. It basicly seid the the fats and ammino acids in the meaty foods. Beef heart had the the greatest value. IMO it important to just add a nice mix of different foods will make a healther fish, and healther fish needs less problems and better coloration.

I'm sure you know that it impotrant to thaw the froozen food and to rehydrate freeze dry foods, completely before feeding your fish with these tyoe of foods

DJ, can you link that study please? I'm interested in the way they've done it to come to that conclusion about mammalian organ meat, it always seemed out of balance in a fish diet so it would be good to find out anything new .

Mix 'em up Keith. Rotate or mix on the day, whichever your fish prefer Bloodworms are a good conditioning food and do wonders for building muscle, brine shrimp have those brilliant shells that add a bit to the colour and seem to be nice and easy on the gut.

Thank you all, looks like I will buy another 10 frozen packets of the brine shrimp (far cheaper that way) and give the 5ft tank two each (three times a week) and the small tank 1/2 of one each twice a week.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info
