Frustrated on timing | |
Kellyjhw Big Fish My bubble... Posts: 405 Kudos: 217 Votes: 471 Registered: 22-Nov-2008 | I just called my LFS to see if they have the fish in that I've been waiting for. First I had to wait until the tank had cycled properly, then I had to wait until they came in (they're imported). I called to find I missed them! They came in and sold out of them in less than a week, maybe 2-3 days tops! Ugh! We had just added the Angels & snails and needed to wait a week before I could add more. Ugh! This is soooo frustrating. To top it off, they even had a shipment of the all white and marbled Angels we wanted and sold out of those too! Doh. TTFN --->Ta-Ta-For-Now Kelly ;o} |

They had my Black Ruby Barbs! I went ahead and bought them at full price. (I was afraid they would be gone by Sunday when the fish are half off.) "Vengence is mine!" said Mushu [Mulan]. I drove the netter crazy with no,no get that one. I need at least 2 males. Nope that's another female. HaHa. Serves um right for selling my fishes. It's all in fun though. I'm happy and the kids are gonna flip when they come home to them. TTFN --->Ta-Ta-For-Now Kelly ;o} |

She insisted they were all pygmy corys and I told her a little more assertively that what she had caught me included two species. But yeah, CK is right, I've had the store hold fish for me in the past. -------------------------------------------- The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. |
