Good news! I just went to the LFS with Mom to see if they had any shubunkin goldfish for our pond... which they didn't, but we ended up special ordering some...

I looked in the plant tanks and saw a couple SAEs! We decided to ask if they were on sale and they were... got a couple plants too... it turned out this 3" SAE was only $2.99! And I NEVER see them in stores around here... he went into our 60 gallon tank to help clean up the algae.

Also ended up with a MASSIVE Crypt. wendtii for only $10 and another $10 on the 2/$10 potted plants - a small but super-healthy E. tenellus (the only one that went in one of my tanks) and a gorgeous ozelot sword... Very very satisfied customer. I am kind of wondering if the place is under new management or something because a couple years ago it was nowhere near this nice. I also noticed they had the ADA Aqua Soil, and made a mental note of that in case I want to change out the substrate in my 10-gallon planted tank... which is currently regular gravel with a small patch of flourite...

That sounds great I think if there are any FP members in your area it might be worth a visit. I went to LFS not in my area at all to enquire about a difficult to locate plant and walked out with a baby SAE and my new Betta which matches the Cardinals colour perfectly.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

Yeah, if anyone here's from the East San Francisco Bay Area, shoot me a PM and I'll tell you about my two favorite LFSes, one of which is this one... (the other one's about the same distance in the opposite direction from me, so they're about 30+ miles apart...)
