I have a 55 gal tank that has been set up for about 3 years now. I have about 11 plants and 11 fish in it right now.
Tank:
Emperor 400 BioWheel filter
260 watt lights
DIY C02 injection
Eheim Wet/Dry 2227 Canister Filter(In the mail)
Powerhead and heater

Fish:
1 Gourami
6 Neon Tetras
1 Red fish with brownish\black strip size of the tetras
2 cories
1 pleco (probably take him back to the LFS when he is to big, hes still a baby now)

I was wanting more cories and some guppies and something else. If they will fit, do you have anymore suggestions on fish?

55gal Tank:130 watt coral lights,Eheim Wet/Dry 2227 Canister Filter,Powerhead, Co2 Injection and a heater.

Definitely get more cories. In a 55g you could have 10-12.

Find out what kind of fish the red one is. If it is a tetra of some sort, you should try to get about 4 or 5 more atleast. If you can take a picture someone may be able to identify it for you.

I would get about 4 more neons. They are great in larger groups. I have 8 in my 29g and may get a couple more.

You could get some male guppies, if that is what you want. Get only males though, because the fry would soon overcrowd the tank if you had males and females. You could add 4 male guppies.

If you want, after you take the other pleco back, you could get about 4 ottos or 1 Bristlenose for algae. For ottos though, make sure there is a steady supply of algae because most won't eat algae wafers. BN's on the other hand, will eat the algae wafers. BN's stay around 4 inches, so it wouldn't get too big.

Add more Corydoras of the same species that you already have. They like to stay in schools & the more you have, the merrier they'll be.

I would add more Cories as suggested same variety and certainly more Neons both those fish look good in schools and prefer to be in larger schools.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info
