I love my school of Congo Tetra, but..... | |
daddySEAL Enthusiast Posts: 221 Kudos: 68 Votes: 3 Registered: 04-Mar-2008 | In doing a little browsing about them, I found a fishkeeper who said his Congo Tetra will eat right out of his hand...and have little tiny teeth (feeling like sandpaper) But HERE'S a Congo River fish I'd not want to swim with, let alone feed by hand! http://bp0.blogger.com/_E-QOnTGFX_o/R6_Xv0icymI/AAAAAAAACrA/CzUr0BgqYfA/s1600-h/tiger-fish-congo-river.jpg |

These guys also known as African Tiger Fish. The amazing thing is that I've seen this fish sold before in a fish store... -------------------------------------------- The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. |

We have some fish in our tropical rivers with huge mouths full of teeth and not a problem at all. Personally I would not trust that fella.
