No wonder you have been busy.
Being SE Qld and that many tanks have you thought about a Generator just in case of a decent power failure.

How many hrs per week do you spend loking after the tanks/fish?
Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

I have an inverter and a charged car battery which can run two outlets as well as a heap of battery run airstones.
Depends how long the power wants to go out. My tanks are not currently over stocked at all.

Time wise, I keep a spreadsheet of the tanks and their waterchanges etc. I usually do a few nearly every day but its easy done.

Most of the time I just potter about in the fish rooms making caves or whatever and watching the antics of my fish.
