I have these little white worms all over my 55 gallon. Mainly on the glass, ive seen post on these before but can't seem to find any now. I've had them for a while and they dont seem to bother the fish at all, their just an eye sore and they make the tank look dirty/cloudy. What can I do to get rid of them??? any advice is appreciated

Clean the gravel regularly and add a small amount of salt. They are relatively harmless to the fish and are not parasitic so don't panic too much about it.

Hi,
There have been several posts asking about these critters.
They are harmless to fish, will eat fish eggs, and are
an indication that you have been neglecting your aquarium
maintenance. They thrive in the gravel where the excess
food has settled. Water changes including vacuuming the
gravel will eliminate them over time.
Mentally divide the non-planted parts of your tank into
four sections, and with each weekly water change vacuum
a different section. That way, within a month, you
will have changed the water in your tank as you
should, and will have completely cleaned the
non-planted parts of your tank.
