What should i do, going to get the alge scraper soon. There is also all this white stuff on my wood but someone said that is normal for drift wood so... Does it get any direct sunlight? What fish are in there already? Do you have a nitrate test kit? If so, check the levels in your tank, and straight from the tap. You may have higher than normal nitrates in your tap water. Is this tank planted? If so, you may need to look at your fert regimen and see if something's missing. Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean... |

I digged around and found your log for this tank. Here are a few questions: "It is cycled, water permeters are good" - how did you do that, and what is "good"? "So far I have: 6 corys, 6 serpea tetras, 1 Dwarf Gourami" - that is quite some fishload for a rather new tank (2 weeks old), in particular with almost no plants at all. Do you add plant fertilizers? How much do you feed the fish? That's it for now, Ingo ![]() |
