My bad experience with a lfs. | |
lemans81 Small Fry Posts: 1 Kudos: 1 Votes: 2 Registered: 11-Dec-2006 | I hate to put down a lfs, but today I went to go explore a new store. I got there about 10 minutes before they opened. I pulled into a spot and a guy in an suv pulled up like right to my back bumper. My wife told me that the guy in the suv is punching the steering wheel and cussing(we were the only ones in the lot). So I get out and he cusses me out and says that spot is reserved for him the owner(then I see the sign on the side of his vehicle). I told him its just a spot and he tells me that unless I move I can't go into his store. There is no sign marking it as his spot. I said your right you can have you spot and left. I have never had a bad experience before I even went in a store. Maybe he was having a bad day or maybe he is just a child(45 years old or so). But since I had a bad experience I figured I would save anyone else from ever visiting there. Link removed by Adam |

Instead, I would have just gone into another store and taken my sweet time. I don't take crap from people. I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |

That guy's got some nerve to be that outlandish in public and that childish when it comes to a stupid parking spot. Besides, in rereading your post, lemans, it looks like the owner was running late to open his OWN store, so that might have been part of his issue. But still, nothing serious enough to make a normal person fly off the handle like that. I agree with Natalie--I wouldn't have moved either. If there's no sign, there's no dibbs on that spot. If anything, you probably could have phoned the police if his bullish actions caused alarm on your side, or if he threatened to do something to your vehicle or was continuing to be outlandish while you stayed calm. That would've opened the guys eyes. Hey, lemans, congrats to you for not adding to the problem and staying calm in the situation. Not all folks can do that. /:' |

NitroBobby Small Fry Posts: 5 Kudos: 4 Votes: 0 Registered: 14-Jan-2007 | wow, what a total jerk. i'd expect that kind of attitude here in the north east (nyc...gotta love it), but it's never acceptable. it's the complete opposite of how a business should be run. usually employees are told to park at the back of the lot to reserve the 'good' spots for the customer. |
