I have a 90 with flourescent lights. They are the stock bulbs that came with the hood. Anyway, I want something that will make my Red Devil show off his color better than these stock bulbs. I have 2 fixtures that house just the 2 bulbs, 48" I believe. Any ideas on what I could use?

Hi,
based upon the presumption that you are not willing to
change light strips, change bulb type, or retrofit the
light strips for compact flourscents, or VHO bulbs and
a new ballast, you could purchase one of the following:

From Home Depot:
Philips Alto model F32T8/TL865 Home Depot # 319958
its rated at 6500K, 2,850 Lumens, and has a 24,000hr life.
If the bulb is a T12, then try the Philips F40DX/ALTO
again it is rated at 6500K, 2,325 Lumens and 20,000hours.
Home Depot nr: 370334
