Saturday I came home just to find a leak in my 30g ]:|, the tank is in my bedroom so I had to past the night "in the water" like fish , had to move all the guys to a 10g, so they are a little bit overcrowded but don't have any other tank available, hopefully tomorrow it will be fixed.......

I hope all went well it can be a rather nasty expereience when that happens.

I always keep a large clean plactic container ready just in case. It is also used in any big maintainance jobs.

[font color="#000080"]Hope you can get you tank fixed as soon as possible, and that it does'nt cost too much.

If my tank starts to suddenly leak i'll be in big trouble.

I had that happen a couple months ago in my 30G tank. I ran out to the LFS and bought another one, actually a bigger tank, 38G. Thankfully it was a pay week and all I had to worry about was moving them over as it was a slow leak. I just rotated them between all my other tanks and some large tupperware. I still have the old 30G ready to be patched up....as soon as I get around to it.

In instances like that those storage totes come in handy....I know they're not easily found everywhere on the planet....but .... yeah .
Good luck getting it all fixed hcelizondo

Bad news, the tank would be ready till next friday , the fish looks fine in their temporary 10g the list includes 5 leucolas cories,1 black neon & 4 Bolivian Rams, I was treating ich in that tank and due to the temp increament it helped to the leack, fortunately ich is gone now,I've tried a new treatment that works wonders and removed the ich in less than 1 week (maybe We can talk about it in the hospital section) and is the second time I use it without loosing any fish . Now just have to wait until the tank is fixed, and I'm wondering about the idea to get anothe bigger tank as well

Thanks for your replies

That happened to us, only it was an angle breeding tank. We had to move the angles out, and we had nowhere to put the fry.. but i think they live though, im not sure.
