I want to make sure I am reading this correctly.

In a Ten Gallon tank you currently have
2 Bala Sharks
2 Mickey Mouse Platies
2 Sunburst Platies
5 Goldfish
1 Common Pleco

If this is the case your EXTREAMLY over stocked your common pleco alone will grow to two feet in length, and the Balas have to have at least a four foot long aquarium because they have to have room to swim. Plus they are a schooling fish. I saw a pair of them a week ago that were only a couple of inches shy of the length of your ten gallon.

Goldfish are Cold water fish and you shouldnt have 5 of them in a ten gallon as they get way to big, and are a huge bioload because of the waste they produce. Not to mention the ammount of waste the pleco produces.

The platy's themselves get to be 2.5 inches in length and rembering the golden 1 inch per gallon rule, you have fully stocked your ten gallon with 4 platys. Also you need to figure that if you have a male and a female platy as I assume you do since you have babies in another tank, your going to become over run with the little buggers.

Just some words of advice

Also am I correct in believing all those fish are in a 10G tank. If so I dont think they will survive for very long.
You are extremly over stocked.

I am very supprised you were not asking why am I having all these deaths.
Please get back very quickly so that we can help you.

I think if you get rid of the balas, goldies, and pleco, you would be OK. Also, you shouldnt mix coldwater and tropical water fish

Also, haven't you posted this topic here before?

I am sort of impressed that that many fish could physically fit in that size of tank. As everyone else suggests, I would find a home for nearly all the fish. What was the size of your "huge" tank?

To keep the common pleco, 5 goldfish, and balas, you would need atleast a 100g tank...probably bigger. Goldfish get big and to keep one or two in a 55g tank is pushing it.

Please take these fish to your LFS or someone that has a big enough tank and keep the platies.
Or get yourself atleast a 150g tank to properly house all of these fish.

Yes, and I can't imagine that they have any room to swim. 10g are pretty small compared to other tanks...i bet its cramped. And the fish can't be happy.

You may not have problems now, but you will eventually.

Also, haven't you posted this topic here before?

I am not sure they have posted on their tank. But its in their signature, so I've wanted to comment before when they answer people's questions.
