1. In my empty yet cycled 10g, i have many little leaves of dead anachris.. is this going to be a huge problem? They have been in there for a while.

2. Stocking might be..
-3 endlers (2 females, 1 male)
-3 or 4 ADF
-3 female bettas, very small 1 inchers
-? Kuhli loaches....(probbaly not )
* I might not be able to get female endlers, in which case i will not get endlers at all *

3. I have a frill plant.. which is growing like nobody's business . To make more frill babies, can i simply cut them and plant the stem else where? I have never grown plants.. except well... moss ..

Thanks guys! ^-^

1. Empty and cycled? What are you waiting for? Nah, the leaves won't be a real problem, but I would do some gravel vac-ing before throwing fish in there to pick up all the decaying matter. On the other hand, I've seen dead leaves in an aquarium for a "look" as part of aquascaping, so maybe it's not all that bad.

2. Stocking sounds all right to me, but to be truthful I haven't kept any of those fish except the kuhlis, so I can't speak from experience

3. Hey, I've never grown anything but Java moss, so I guess we're in the about the same boat. I'm no plant expert, but I did a quick google search, and found that frill plants AKA Myriophyllum can in fact be propagated by cutting them. So go for it, cut to your heart's content.

the femal bettas whould be fine and the ADF will also be ok. never kept khulis so i have no idea about them, but if you can't find a femal endler you could use a femal guppy and keep all the offspring resembling endlers and sell of give away the now endler offspring...

sounds like a good stock!

Truth be told it's been some time since I've received cookies over the internet. *munch munch* But with my semester over for the time being I don't have anything better to do than sit on the computer to kill time.

Sounds like an adventure. Good luck!

Hi!

Hmm....Sounds a tad bit crowded, dont you think? They are all compatable, but need lots of overfiltration. The kuhlis need a whole lotta hiding places, ie plants and tight crevasses between medium large rocks (See kuhli playground via sig...). They are verg activ but timid and shy. 1-2 weeks to acclimate completely to see them in daylight. Get a 20lbs bag of pea or fine gravel, or flourite etc... And plant away! Now i wonder why the anachais died? Do u have Flourescent, Daylight bulbs? Screw ins are fine. If not, then get some at ur local shopping place, ie Discount outlets, LFSs, Home Improvement stores....Iv never heard of thw frilly plant. Can you post a link? Pix please?...

May i have a cookie, sir? Dangit! i deleted all my cookies!!! Dumb spyware!
