	Strange Fish
Leighton Fingerling Posts: 15 Kudos: 7 Votes: 0 Registered: 16-Sep-2007	I have just been to one of my friends house and his new guppy fish that he added today is acting strange. She stays in the top right hand corner of the tank and hardly moves unless she is bothered by other fish swimming nearby. I dont think she is pregnant as does not have a huge gravel spot. What could she be doing? She was there in the corner for up to 3 hours (and proberly still there now). Thanks Leighton

superlion Mega Fish Posts: 1246 Kudos: 673 Votes: 339 Registered: 27-Sep-2003	Often new fish will hide out in one place until they are completetly comfortable in the tank. I wouldn't worry unless she is gasping, shimmying, or shows other signs of disease. She'll be ok in a day or so. Some things that help ease the transition into the new tank are turning lights out, or rearranging decorations if other fish in the tank are territorial. ><>
