Will they survive a winter there and if they do will they breed and possibly harm the ecosystem? If you add a few to your pond they are not contained away from the environment and anything they do will have an impact on native wildlife. Best to find out the species and if it is already native in your area. If not it would be better to get some native tadpoles for your pond. |

geminilyretail![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Fingerling Posts: 44 Kudos: 28 Votes: 7 Registered: 29-Dec-2005 ![]() ![]() | bull frog tadpoles are fairly harmless, however a bull frog can grow 6in or more. and are know to eat food as large as ducklings, mice, fish..... they will try to eat anything that moves and is too slow to get away. strongly recomend not geting bullfrogs for your pond. leopard frog or maybe green frog for your pond. hope this isnt to late. |
