When I add water to the 30, can I put the old cartridge from the 20 into the 30's filter for an Insti-Cycle? |

This way the right media for the 30G filter has the good bacteria on it. Sometimes filter cartriges aren't interchangable and could cause problems. Just make sure you have something to feed the bacteria (read put fish in it first). |

Double your filtration in your existing tank for two weeks to let the new filter seed itself. When you shift the new filter to the 30G, you are ready to go with a light load of fish. Almost an instant cycle... much better than additives!
