I have now a 25 gallon tank that has 2 full grown auratus breeding pair, 5 frontosa very small, and another unidentified fish about 2.5 to 3 inches, and two common plecos about 1.5 and 3 inches long ( plecos are temporary)

I am planning on breeding the frontosa, as far as ai can tell i have two males and three females. i wish to keep the auratus and fronts to breed, but i need help with the size of tank, i am not looking to buy one, but to build one or have one built custom. Dimensions would be fine. please account for the fact that i may get some more frontosa or auratus maybe two or three of either one. and also the thickness of the glass i will need.

all help is greatly appreciated and i thank all in advance.

It seems that most of your fish are cichlids, and the plecos are bottom dwellers, so i would get a longer tank. I dont know about the glass thickness or anything, but i would get as big a tank as you can. If you plan to get more fish, i would go for a minimum of like 55-65 gallons.

i do not plan on keeping these plecos, all of the fish that i plan on keeping are cichlids (possibly soemthing for the algae but... the frontosa need something over 120 gallons, the auratus are that big of a fish so i am thinking in the range of 180 to 225 gallons.

Are you going to put the auratus with the frontosa?

If so, you would want something in that range.

Actually i just read that if you plan to breed frontosa, you could put up to twelve of them in a 125 gal.

You can find basics on building your own tank including necessary glass thickness here: http://saltaquarium.about.com/cs/aquariumdiy/a/aa052903DIYcust.htm
