I was wondering what foods you recommend for Tropicals. I currently have some cory cats, BNs, a betta and some imported Guppies. I currently feed them a mixture of tropical flakes and marine granules. But, I was thinking of replacing it with some Tetra's Colourbits. I have heard great comments about this product. What would you recommend?

I would feed your fish water ever they like better. You could try alternating between all three. The more variety you can offer the better nutrition they will get. Throw some live or frozen foods in there once and awhile and you will be all set.

Gourami is dead on. You like eating a variety of food, so why wouldn't your fishies? I alternate between frozen brine shrimp, frozen bloodworms, color enhancing pellets, flakes, and Aquadine, which are pellets you mix yourself at the LFS. I also have corys and a clown plec, which I feed Hikari sinking wafers. The pleco also loves the occasional cucumber snack, as would your BN. I cut it into round pieces then in half, stick a plant weight through it to weigh it down and add 2 once every week or two. Take out the remains the next morning

Hope that helped.

both of them are bang on, look at you LFS so for sales on different type of food, i feed mine, betta granules, blood worms, brine shrimp, veggies, flakes and believe it or not fruit every once in a while. but keep one as your main food like the flakes and you can alternate the others.... mine get flakes in the am, and then some other type at night. but sales at LFS give you alot of variety for cheap
