having trouble deciding whats goin on. 1.)there are little batches of fish eggs alll over my tank and theres new ones every day. this has been going on for some time now and i havent really giving it much thought 2.)i then realized that their not hatching, i mean none of the hundreds of eggs that have been laid. nuthin 3.)i know the eggs come from my white skirt tetras, my african butterflys eggs float, they started before i got my rainbow fish, danios dont spawn on walls and whatnot, and my mollies are live breeders.....thats all i got!why arent they hatching?what should i do with them?whats the dealio?

None of your fish are egg depositors, they're all scatterers.

So they're probably snail eggs. Even if you don't normally see snails, they could live under your gravel and only come out at night. It is weird that they're not hatching, though. How long has it been? They might not be eggs at all, I imagine there could be other things that look like fish eggs... Are there any fish you haven't accounted for? If you just have one female of an egg-depositing species, then you could have infertile eggs...

I was thinking the same thing snail eggs. What ever they are they are probably being eaten when they hatch.

Post a picture if you can but i agree they are being eaten before they hatch or when they hatch. If you really thing they are fish eggs do you have any dense foolage for the fry to find protection in.
