How does a crayfish a metre long strike you as a pet? Astacopsis gouldi, the world's largest freshwater crustacean (and, needless to say, CITES I Schedule) has just hit the news. Apparently it boasts claws 25 cm long, and measures 90 cm from tip of claws to telson. Now that is one BIG crustacean! Panda Catfish fan and keeper/breeder since Christmas 2002
