If his are dying off they may bring diseases with them that you really won't want in your tanks (or your sister's). Unfortunately it sounds like it's going to be very difficult for you to quarantine them under these circumstances. Maybe someone else has some ideas for you? Good luck. |

Remove his fish from the tank. Clean everything really well, do a great big gravel vac, replace the water, scrub the sides, clean it up really good, then fill with fresh water, or water from your tanks, and place his fish back in. Allow a month or so in quarantine like this before mixing his fish with yours. You dont want to give all your fish some disease or sickness that is carryed over from his tank. Unless the rainbow shark is over 4 inches, I wouldnt worry about it being stunted in a months time. If it is larger, perhaps it would be better to return him to the pet store. Then later on if you feel like it, you could always get a new younger, healthier fish to replace it. Come Play Yahtzee With Me! http://games.atari.com Http://www.myleague.com/yahtgames |

Finally dont be in a hurry to mix the fish at all. All the best with all the work that has to be done. (as apposed to albino) and this one is more yellowish, and the ones at walmart are more white, why is that/ i havent had a young cory for months, almost a year. |

"Dept stores" should not be allowed to sell live fish. Chances are the "pet department manager" has minimum fish knowledge if any. Last edited by Light_Bright at 05-Dec-2004 08:38 |

"Dept. stores" should not be allowed to sell live fishFor some reason were not allowed to use the petstores name about there fish only positive comments. It had something to do about some guys getting sued or something over fish just say W****** or something like that. aS For you fishhelper dont be in any sort of a rush to move the fish around. The shark is the really only thing that matters. THe zebras will fit in a ten they just need a school and so will the cories. The shark, tho, will get stunted entually. HEs the one you want out of there asap. GOod luck with the tank and the new tanks your getting. fish1 Last edited by Light_Bright at 05-Dec-2004 08:40 |
