Most healthy fish can go at least two weeks without eating. Three days will be fine.

They'll be absolutely fine. Fish can go about a week safely not eating. Now one thing you should be sure not to do is over feed them before you go, feed them normally and be on your way and feed them normally first thing when you get back. Many people think over feeding before you leave will help which is not really true. Fish can only metabolize a certain amount of food effectively at a time and the rest is converted to waste and the nutritional value is lost.

Feeder bricks can mess up your ph and automatic feeders allow the food to get humid and fungus over so I don't recommend either of them.

Turn off the lights to the tank, say goodbye, and enjoy your 3 day weekend...They will be fine...

I regually leave mine for 2-3 days when we go on a short holiday. Never a problem.

i have left mine alone, with no food or light, for 15 days on several occassions with no problems. 3 days is nothing to worry about. heed john.stone's warning about the feeders and blocks- 3 days is way too short a span to worry about.

3 days.. is no problem at all. I have tried 10 days without food. They'll be more than happy to see you after 3 days fast.
