What kind of shark was it, exactly? There are a bunch of sharks that get HUGE, like a couple feet or more.

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

Tim, really! Restrain yourself. Not THAT many people like tiger barbs as much as you do. Myself included.

Alex 4 eva

I also went to a Aqu and saw this "fat shark" but I dont think it would fit into our tanks.

I think it is what they call a 7 Gill Shark & people do swim with these at the Melbourne Aqu.

Keith, by swim do you mean SCUBA dive? It is my understanding that those sharks are cold water sharks.

How long have they had her, that she is still swimming into things, nose first. That looks like a nasty injury on her nose. And yes all, it is a female, lol.

How is it doing? As I know that there are only a few in captivity.

That shark is at the Melb Aqu.

Yes they are cold water sharks. They do Scuba dive with them at a $$$ cost.

You could try to contact them re those Quesions as I would not even try answer them

Really? I know the Monterey Bay aquarium has "a few" sevengill sharks. They keep whem in the kelp forest tank. Next time I go there I will have to see just how many there are...
