i need help i wanna raise worms (earthworms) for my cichlids i use to buy them but it gets expensive any one know and techiques

Keep buing them. I wouldnt get them from the ground unless you are 100% it hasnt been fertizled for about 4 years. All i can suggest is to feed your cichlids other foods such as pellets. Earthworms around here are like 3bucks for like 20 how many around your area.

Be extremly careful even with bought worms. Briefly my sons mate had an certified organtic berry farm, he grew his own worms so that he could use the castings (Poo waste) as a fertilizer. His farm was retested and he lost his certification reason he had covered the worm beds with old carpet (a very commonly used product) it contained a few nastie chemicals hence non pure organtic.

What ever is used to feed the worm basicaly stays in their bodies.
