It looks like the image is much larger then the picture.

Looks like you have a lot of coraline growning on the back glass. Nice rock too.

I can't attach pictures, not a premium member, so I need to use a host, you don't.

So what are you trying to do? Make the image larger? I thought you were just trying to get rid of the white space.

As clear and as large as possible.I first was taking at 3.2 mp and then tried at 1 mp.This is at 1 mp with the jpeg reduction at a medium quality.Mabey I will try again at 3.2 or 4.0 mp and reduce to 99kb or so.I am using adobe software as the kodak software doesn't seem to reduce the pic as well.

What you need to do is set your camera to take a picture at, Hmm, lets say 1024x768. That shoudl be big enough for a web picture. Then there is no need to resize it. If you dont need a lot of detail then 640x480 will be enough for the web. If you must resize it, you can use something like paintshop pro, or adobe photoshop. I use both and they do a GREAT job.

How's this? Not much I can do with it besides make it a bit bigger.

What you want to do is take the picture at the maximum quality you can, and the biggest size. Then use editing software to shrink it down a bit. You lose more quality trying to make a picture bigger than tryng to make it smaller.

1meg means the amount of pizels in the picture, not the size of the file. The higher the megs, 1meg, or 3meg, teh more detail the picture will have. There shoudl be a setting for picture size, 640x480, 1028x768, 1280x1024, etc. The larger these numbers, the larger the file size.
