My friend added a snowflake eel to her tank 3 days ago and she has not seen it since . Does anybody have experince with adding snowflake eels to aquariums? How long do they usually take to poke their little heads out and become a little braver?

PS the little girl i am babysitting wants to click on every smily...so here it goes...

It could take a week or more. They are basicly nocternal, so you may not see it much during teh day for a while. After a while they will become more comfortable and come out during the day to feed. Have your friend hand feed it with a feeding stick. I would not suggest hand feeding from your hand as they can bite hard. My 2 foot zebra moray got my finger last week, and yes, I'm a crazy one that actually hand feeds.:88) Have your friend watch the tank after the lights go out.
