I have two clowns in my tank. Theyre supost to be both tomato clowns. But im starting to think they arent. I have pics but here are my descriptions which might also help.

clown 1: Has alot more brown on him. Running from his caudal fin up near his eye. and his orange is darker then clown two

clown 2: Has a smaller brown spot. It is kind of located where its stomach would be (The best way to desricbe where it is) It has a white spot near the eyes and mouth. Something clown one doesnt have.

The link is on the third reply

And the two fish are labeled clown one and two and they corespond with the descriptions above.

No pictures to see.

Remember, no two clowns will look exactly alike. Coloration can change with diet, and lighting, as well as many other things. Will look again once the pictures are enabled.

One appears to be a Tomato clownfish ( Amphiprion frenatus ) and the other appears to be a Cinnamon clownfish ( Amphiprion melanopus )...but its hard to tell because of the size/age of the fish and also because of different color morphs.

I agree with DRO, the larger of the two appears to be a cinnamon clown, and the smaller looks to be a tomato clown.

Tank needs a background BTW.
