I changed the water this moring and when I turned my skimmer on it make heaps of wet foam, like I have to empty the cup every 45 mins at this rate the tank will be empty soon the cup holds about 1/2 a litre. What can I do? I want to go out and I dont want my room filling up with foam and an empty tank. If I leave the skimmer off for a day and start it up tomorrow will that help or make it worse? The skimmer is an aquamedic turbofloater 1000SL if that helps Thanks Last edited by connah at 25-Feb-2005 19:38 |

Try again in a day and see if that's better. Dan Dan |

Id go ahead and unplug it until you can be there to watch it. Im not saying that it will overflow, because I have never had one to it to me......but Im also not going to tell you that it wont. ![]() |

I tried the flow taps fully open How I normally have it and fully close which caused the cup to fill with water quicker, I guess this is because the taps control the water comming out of the skimmer not into it. Thanks for the help guys ![]() |
