I saw a fancy sea slug today. I can't find much info about it. Right now I'm leaning on not getting it unless I can get more info. Has anyone had, or have one of these? From what I have seen, they don't do well in tanks. Thanks.

But there are only a couple thousand different types. You can also get to their main page and scan though some of the articles and such to help you determine if it is good for your reef or not. There are several out there that are great for reefs, but some will eat the corals too. The tiger tail is a good one for the reef, and it eats detritus. As well as there is a red one that gets over 2 feet (eventually) that is a good one and also eats detritus. Both of these are relatively commonly available to the hobbyist. I have both in my tanks, and know several others that have them as well. I did mail order my tiger tails though.

I don't have the name but the shape is the same.Mine was solid purple with white borders.I contacted the LFS and they are going to order me a couple of colors soon.I am making a small tank for them.With restrictons from the intakes "lesson learned".
The 180g In the wall tank is out.the renovation changed and she wants a pool table.
She does want to keep the Star fish so I can set up a tank for them and the nudi's.
