my outlook on feeding veggies to a SW tank is this.....if it didnt come from the ocean it doesnt need to be in your tank.

Seaweed is cheap, and you know it wont harm the tank.

I know of some people that feed other things, but I wouldnt recommend it. The nutritional value isnt there, and the fish have a harder time digesting it.

I'm in agreement, you can get seaweed from any oriental store. You will just need to break it up, it comes in sheets.

I agree with the above posters. No reason to feed veggies to a SW tank.

Yes, its Nori...usually found in the "ethnic" section of the grocery store or at oriental stores.....just make sure it is plain Nori and not seasoned.

Fishhead....we have had our share of disagreements for sure. Its a great learning experience for everyone. Makes you research to make sure of your answers, and give others more than one point of view.

If I have learned one thing in this hobby, its that there is NO one way to do something...you have to find what works best for you and go with it.
