Ive got a leak in my wet/dry and i need to stop it. Besides silicone how could i stop it ? the leak is comming from where the white tubing connects to the wet/dry and no i cant tighten the thing that connects the wet/dry and the tube.

And my skimmer isnt perfectly flat its tilted a bit from my heater. Will this effect the way the skimmer works? The skimmer is in the pic as well.

thanks in advance

Skimmer should be ok tilted a bit. As for the leak, it depends what kind of connection it is. If its threaded I'd try using some plumbers tape or something similar. Otherwise you may have to dry it and do something a little more permanent like an epoxy or silicone.

o yeah tahanks about the skimmer i was woundering if the titlt would affect the way the skimmer worked.

Just make sure the tape goes on the correct way. and leave the first thread or two free of tape. That way you can start threadind it in. Also, should there be a bulkhead seal around the fitting? If teh hold in the sump is threaded, then the tape shoudl be fine, but if it's an unthreaded hole, you really need a rubber bulkhead seal, the tape will do little to stop the leak.
