Hey i have a question, i want to start a salt water aquarium, and i was wondering if i go fishing and catch some salt water fish, lets say perch, can i keep it in a salt water tank? or will the water not be cold enough for it?<the water in the ocean is hella cold] or not be able to at all, thanks for all the great help!

Depending on where you are located, there may be laws agenst keeping game fish. You may need to get a license to do it. I would check your local laws first.

i think its legal, cuz your aloud to keep the fish, usally when i go fishing there, i bring home the fish and just eat them. so.. haha , i wanna keep some

You would probably have to get a chiller; this is the case with coldwater sharks.

For a decent new one, probably $400. But price depends largely on your tank size. They get much more expensive than that in some cases.

Maybe $400 was a bit of an exageration, but if you have a 55 gallon or so tank, I'd think you'll spend at least $300 on a new chiller for that size tank. But some are a lot more expensive than that, it really depends on what you need it for, and how cold you need to make the water.
