Sorry to hear about your loss.

Fortunately, it wasn't a large one, but seeing a relatively hardy animal die always worries me a bit.

Saying that your levels are "fine" doesn't mean much. Could you post exact levels, for pH, ammonia, nitrIte, nitrAte, and even calcium, plus some more details about your system? What size is it, and how is it set up? Filters, skimmers, lights, supplements? Other tankmates? You know the deal.

It's best to get to the root of the problem so that you dont lose anymore livestock.

Turbo snails some times fall over on their backs and can't get back up. When this happens they die.

sorry i'll post the levels when I have time to test again....but as for the set up , its a 29 gal. with one other fish....ummm the filter is an external filter that came with the tank(it's part of the tank) I have a power glo light and a reg. natural daylight light both 20 watts. I have 2 powerheads and an undergravel filter....thats about all that I can tell ya right now....it's prewtty much justa basic tank that has been doing great since the day I put fish in it.And about the snail I know they die when they fall over but this guys was fine on the bottom of the tank and just didn't move so i inspected him and he looked dead but was still moving...so i left him and the next day he was still there so i looked again and he had died and was a ll shriveled up.
