I did have a few questions though. Is it possible to have a fish only system with no live rock and then add the live rock over time? If you were to have a fish only would you use live sand? Thanks for any info, Stella ![]() |

You can use crushed coral, or sand for a substrate. You can use fake coral heads, or dead corals for decorations. A pair of powerheads, a heater, and a HOB filter and your all set. Over time you can add a few pounds of live rock, then over time build it up. I would suggest adding 5 to 10 pounds at a time, then wait about a month before adding anything else. Dan |

I really like percula clowns but what else could go in? Thanks again, Stella ![]() |

These are all smaller fish and shoudl do fine in your tank. You shoudl be able to get 4 or 5 smaller fish in a tank that size, but not much more then that. Dan |
