By water dragon, what exactly do you mean? The lizard, because thats the only water dragon I've heard of. It appears Arowana are sometimes called dragon fish as well, but you certainly couldnt keep that with a seahorse, since its a freshwater fish.

Second, you shouldn't keep a seahorse, especially if you know nothing about them. They are very delicate animals, and require pretty rigirous care. It sounds like this may be your first marine tank, so keeping horses would be a bad idea.

Ahh, leafy sea dragon eh? Aren't they an endangered species? If so, it would probably be best not to keep one.

If I remember right, you need a permit to keep a leafy sea dragon. And sea horses are very hard to keep.

there are 2 kinds of water dragons, the leafy, and the weedy]http://www.diveline.com.au/Learn2Dive/RipBank%20054.jpg[/link], the [link=leafy
it is VERY hard to even find a leafy for sale ( i do believe they are actually illegal to keep), but you occasionally see a weedy dragon, however, both dragons get to a very large size, somewhere in the range of 18", and will usually tip the scale (price) at around $300 is the cheapest i've seen a weedy, and because of their size, i wouldn't recomend keeping them in anything under a 225 gallon

for the sea horses, there are kinds u can keep in a 5g, but i'd recomend a 20g min, just cus it'd be easier to keep water parameters and maintain

To be honest, with questions like that I'm not sure you'll be able to handle Seahorses.

Captive Bread(The only kind you should buy) can go for more than $200 a pair. Individually you can get them for likely no less than $50.

I'd suggest checking out www.seahorse.org Lots of good info there.

I have a seahorse tank......and no ponies in sight. I researched them extensively, as you should. When you are done researching, you will know why there aren't seahorses in my tank
