![]() | Sea Horse and water dragon in tank? |

The lizard, because thats the only water dragon I've heard of. It appears Arowana are sometimes called dragon fish as well, but you certainly couldnt keep that with a seahorse, since its a freshwater fish. Second, you shouldn't keep a seahorse, especially if you know nothing about them. They are very delicate animals, and require pretty rigirous care. Aren't they an endangered species? If so, it would probably be best not to keep one. Most likely a different species. There are severla, none of which are very hardy. |

Dakafall![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Banned Posts: 218 Kudos: 224 Votes: 7 Registered: 14-Nov-2004 ![]() | there are 2 kinds of water dragons, the leafy, and the weedy]http://www.diveline.com.au/Learn2Dive/RipBank%20054.jpg[/link], the [link=leafy it is VERY hard to even find a leafy for sale ( i do believe they are actually illegal to keep), but you occasionally see a weedy dragon, however, both dragons get to a very large size, somewhere in the range of 18", and will usually tip the scale (price) at around $300 is the cheapest i've seen a weedy, and because of their size, i wouldn't recomend keeping them in anything under a 225 gallon for the sea horses, there are kinds u can keep in a 5g, but i'd recomend a 20g min, just cus it'd be easier to keep water parameters and maintain Daka<<<< ![]() Last edited by Dakafall at 21-Apr-2005 18:12 |

Captive Bread(The only kind you should buy) can go for more than $200 a pair. Individually you can get them for likely no less than $50. I'd suggest checking out www.seahorse.org Lots of good info there. |
