Do they look like a pulled apart cotton ball? I never figuered out what they were either. Dan |

If so, to what (fish, inverts, corals)? Do they reproduce rapidly or in abundance? If they are really good for tanks, should I help them thrive? What are thier natural preadators? How big do they get? Are you tired of my never-ending desire for knowledge yet? ![]() Once again, thanks DRO! ![]() |

I have a number of books that retail for $100 each, and they are not that big of books. The internet and experience is where you will find alot of good information. ![]() [span class="edited"][Edited by DarkRealm Overlord 2004-08-23 21:20][/span] |

After reading the article twice then doing some on-line research of my own, I can definately say it is not a spaghetti worm, a fireworm, or a bristleworm. Vermetid worms are the closest thing to it (REAL close), but mine are flat on the rock as opposed to standing up. The whole hard tube of the worm is attached to the rock, as well. I will continue to search for the proper I. D. and I promise to inform everyone on it when found. ![]() |
