![]() | Suggested Clean Up Crew |
PeaceB2U![]() Hobbyist Posts: 64 Kudos: 48 Votes: 0 Registered: 25-Jul-2004 ![]() ![]() | I have just set up a 55-gallon saltwater tank with live Fiji rock and live sand ... my first experience with a SW tank. Down the road I want to add a couple of clownfish and a yellow tang. No corals. I have a heater, one powerhead for circulation, and a skimmer. No additional filtering system has been added. Lights are the standard flourescent ones that were sold with the tank. What would you suggest for a clean-up crew? I'm looking for something that is easy maintenance and won't harm my fish. |

These are all small crabs. They will clean up algea on the rock and substrate. Astria snails will clean up the glass. Turbo snails will also work, but get very big and tend to fall on there backs and die. Serpent stars will clean up detris. This should be a good start. Dan |
