Who cant like the way an anemone looks. I would hate for myn to loss their buety and die so i have two questions.

1. Bubble tip anemone: how often do i feed and what to feed?

2. Sebae anemone: how often to feed and what to feed?

i currently feed my sebae some invert food once a week and give it a peice of plankton evry souple of days.
i just bought the bubble tip so i havent fed it yet. i am look forward to hearing your replys thanks!

firstly, how long has your tank been set up for? What kind of lighting do you have on it? how big is the tank? what kind of fish do you have in there?

its not recomended to have more then 2 anemonis in the same tank unless its big so they can have there own space and not compete for it.

Your going to want good strong lighting, as well as good water quality. As for feeding, mysis shrimp work well. I feed my sebae blood worms ever once and a while.

Most anenomes should be treated with the same care.

Seeing as they are photosynthetic, they need good reef lighting in order to thrive.

There have actually been studies shown that anenomes fare better in captivity when they are not constantly target feed. They dont need daily or even weekly feedings.

Anything that touches their tentacles, they'll grab and bring into their mouth. IME they aren't really picky eaters. I'd let them get a bit of whatever frozen foods you feed everyonce in awhile. The lighting is more critical than anything, as well as good but not overpowering flow.
