I have a 4 in. picasso triggerfish, and a 2 in Saddle Valentini Puffer who has become quite the nipper in his current tank, do you think it would be ok to put him with picasso?

Puffers tend to be nippers. Triggers can be rather aggressive, so watch it closly. They tend to hit slower moving fish with large fins, so the puffer may be OK.

yeah ive checked compatibility charts and they say just use caution. I was just worried cause picasso is bigger, but i put him in last night and there both doing fine this morning. picasso is pretty much ignoreing puffer, so i think i got a good match.

There in a 55 gal. Now that puffer has been in with picasso for about a week, he has gotten used to the little guy and leaves him alone, looks like they will be just fine togeather.

They won't last too long in that tank, its very small for those fish, especially the Trigger. I doubt he'll be nice to tank mates for too long.
