Snails shouldnt be a problem at all...there are very few species of snails that would come in on your live rock that would harm anything in your tank.

In marine tanks snails = good.

Snails are not pests in a SW tank. Consider yourself luck you got some freebies.

There are quite a few folks on this forum that have had good luck getting some of their snails to breed.. They are no where near as prolific as most of the pest freshwater snails though.. What did the ones you got rid of look like??

I bet I have a good 50+ snails in my tank that have spawned. They are small and look like little turbo snails.
