	visijet protein skimmer
a2hotz Fingerling Posts: 24 Kudos: 29 Votes: 0 Registered: 07-Jan-2005	I bought a visi-jet 100 protein skimmer about a week ago... I bought it because I got it cheap... but now that i have it running in my tank its not bubbling or anything... Am I doing something wrong or is this thing just junk...?

dthurs Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 4340 Kudos: 4170 Votes: 529 Registered: 18-Feb-2003	Do you know if this is a counter flow, or a venturi style? Counter flow needs an air pump and a wood air defuser. Venturi type get the air from the pump, there should be a hose and a regulator connected near the intake of the pump. The would need to be adjusted. Dan Dan
