They go great with Bettas IME. The Kuhlies should get along nicely with the Betta too. The plant selection sounds good too, but I've never heard of Dwarf Hygro. Most of the Hygrophila I know of are stem plants that will grow as tall as you'll let them. Anyhow, it sounds like it will be nice. I love Crypts, there are so many to choose from. You can get a nice selection of back, middle, and foreground plants from Crypts. I'm assuming the tank is low light by looking at your plant selection. Some other Asian plants that would do ok in low light are Java Ferns and Anacharis (Egeria densa). How much light is over the tank? There may be a few others that would do ok. ![]() |

coop![]() Enthusiast Posts: 168 Kudos: 60 Votes: 2 Registered: 25-Jan-2006 ![]() ![]() | there is 20 watts aqua-glo and the light is on a stand kinda thing(if that makes a difference). the dwarf hygro is hygrophilia polysperma, i think the dwarf pat refers to the leaf size. tank is 13inch deap but the water level is at 8 inch. the wisteria will be in the left corner reaching to the surface and coming down into the froeground, the dwarf hygro will be just to the right of it, to the right of it will be a large crypt(what is one that will come out of the water) and on the left will be the loosestrife. there will be 2 giant hygosn in frint of the wisteria, 2 medium crypts(give me some species plz) in midground lef side and some of those real little crypts(species?) in the foreground. i will also have a pot of phillodendron behind the tank, with all its runners coming into the top of the tank and a semi covering of duckweed. i think ill get 12 rasbora because there is a discout if you buy them half a dozen at a time(it would actually cost me more to buy ten then to buy twelve.... stupid i think). thanx heaps for your input |
