As some may remember, about a year ago I set up a 20g high as my first planted tank with a pair of apistogramma cacatuoides. Things went well and when I recently moved I decided to "upgrade" to a 29g. The apistos didn't make the move with me but I am looking to get them again when the new tank stabilizes. I just wanted to put my potential stocking list out there for comment:
5 Gold Tetras
1 Clown Pleco
2 Apistogramma Cacatuoides

I already have the tetras and pleco and they have lived amicably with apistos before. My question is should I add a couple more tetras or make the apistos pair and trio? Or will things be good as-is?

If u semi plant the tank id go with something like
1-Clown Pleco
12-Gold Tetras(What sp?)
1-Trio of apisto
and if u wanted u could ad 6 corys but they will eat the eggs if the apisto breed and could get hurt by them.....

this is with the 10X+ turn over rate for ur filters id do a aquaclear 50 if semi planted or 70 without plants on that tank might sound over kill but I always over filter my tanks.....
