as you might know, new to a large tank, what would be a good filtration system for me??
stock would be
- 3--5 inch golden belly barbs
- 6--2 inch roseline torpedo barbs/sharks.. (desiantii)
not sure correct spelling
- 2 4-5 cm clownloaches
- would like to add 4 red Irian rainbows
- and 4 turqiuse rainbows
planted with ferts(no co2)canisters
all fish but rainbows are this current size now..
and maybe my 7 yr old upsidedown catfish
money is no option..what would you do and why the choice to use that particlar one over others..experience with some in the past, would love to hear..
im thinking fluval 205, with what? that does 70gal, or should I go with the 305 instead..
thanks Sue

If money is no option I would go for Eheim. When you are looking at their full range go to the next size up for added filtration.

Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do.

thanks Keighgh, Eheim is very good as well, heard lots of good talk about the name. I can get Ehiem in, Fluval is what we do stock and all the extras regularly, it would be easier.., but I have concidered it, and thats all you would use for the tank?..
have you ever used a spray bar?..

The Spray bar that I have connected with the Eheim Pro11 is in three sections which means I can alter the direction of the outflow from the spray bar.
