Endler tank
Before some one jumps on me I fully realize your tank is no where that size.
What it does do is give you an example of how a tank could be set up.
As you can see it has very low plants possibly a moss type in the front then a few taller ones in the middle and a few tall at the back. The sides seem to be heavily planted as well. Also note the painted back ground.
It also has a deep natural coloured substrate.

Your tank is about 30lt but by the time all the substrate goes in it will be far less. I strongly suggest once you get started measure the water as it goes into the tank.

If it is an open top tank I would go for a quality HOB but get one for a 10gall+
If you want it for Endlers only green plants alone would be excellent. The Endless have plenty of colour why spoil it by having bits and pieces every where.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

it should be ok with about 6 males but if you do a mixed sex tank beware that you will need an outgrow tank for the fry and you will only be able to keep about 3 females and one or two males.

I agree stick with only males, the babies would over take the tank too fast, and trying to remove them you would have to constantly be uprooting your plants. I say six male endlers and a couple algae eating shrimp.
