Hey guys,
I was just about to start treating my tank for what i believe to be worms, with the Jungle Anti-Parasite food. It says not to feed any other food in the three days i am feeding them this food. I have a some corys and a pleco in my tank, so can i not feed them their algae discs, and jsut hope they get enough food? Any suggestion!
Thanks
Sam

I do know the corys will be fine for three days, a well fed tank can go a week or more without feeding (not obviously recommended though )....I can't immagine that the pleco would have any problems with it either.

What size are these worms? color? Where did you notice them?

Take a look at this site, if they look something like this (these are on a much larger scale) then it's Planaria. Don't worry they are harmless to your fish it's just a sign of poor water quality due to overfeeding of your fish. I had them (and maybe still do, but I'm treating Ich and haven't had the lights on for 2 days now).

There's also another post in FP on Planaria where the poster had some neat close-up pictures of these worms, but I don't remember where I'd seen it, sorry.

Hope this helps

As others have stated no need to worry at all. I am sure they can go without food for at least a week without any problems at all.
