They grow to around four inches, and are really active. Gold barbs need much more space than ten gallons. The flagfish (a type of killifish) should be okay, since they are small. I don't know if killies are active or not though, so check up on that. If they are active, don't get them. Four inches of active fish is too much for ten gallons of water. |

I'm sure I left some viable candidates out, but you get the idea. It depends on what interests you. Is color more important to you, or personality? Do you like schooling fish, or those that can be kept singly? See where I'm going with this? |
