A pump, as in an air pump? You won't need one, even if you keep fish which require highly oxygenated water. You've already got the powerhead and spray bar, so you should be good to go.

Is the spray bay above the surface of the water if so it will give you a good surface movement but what it will not do is recirculate the water from the bottom of the tank. I personally would get a good ceramic one and a good air pump Rena is a quality product.

In my 5ft tank there is spray bar at one end, two risers for UG filters also two 4ins ceramic airstones this give me air and water movement at all levels all over the tank and certainly no "flat spots" no water movement areas.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

In that case I certainly would invest in a good pump such as Rena and a ceramic air stone. Place the air stone in the center of the tank but more towards the back of the tank. The air line can be burried under the gravel and the air stone behind a rock or a piece of drift wood.
