So be patient ![]() The Stress Coat dechlorinates the water as I understand relatively fast, as in I wouldn't worry, as long as it is put it...I've added water to the tank and then the stress coat over by the airstones and all is well. As far as what fish you want to add, read your message I sent...You need to remove the neons out of the 10 gallon along with the corries, they will be absolutely delighted to be in the 22 gallon, and that will leave your crabs that you don't want to part with happy in the 10 gallon...then if you have the room maybe add some harlequin rasboras, they are small little fish with lots of personality... heidi The Rasboras are the ones in the bottom right, the others that are speckled are Hasbrosus Corries...they just love to play together in the bubbles ![]() heidi attached this image: ![]() Last edited by heidi at 10-Apr-2005 22:55[/font] "I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom." As far as dechlorinating I am also led to believe using the corect products and at the correct rate it is practically instantly. I add it to my empty container before I add the water directly from the tap this makes sure it is mixed correctly. When adding new fish do it very slowly and check every second day just to make sure everything is working correctly. I would also wait at least two weeks between adding fish, just to be on the safe side. You may think all this takes too long but it is the best way in the long term. I have started a 5ft tank and had it up and running fully within 12 hrs. Reason 35+ years of experience and it was a shift from a 4ft tank to a 5ft tank, and never lost a fish. But in your case take it very slowly. As you go along ask many qusetions just make sure you have all the water details posted Keith ![]() ![]() Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do.
